5 Pathways

Researchers have identified five key pathways that can be followed to a more nature connected life. These underpin our philosophy and practice at The Human Nature Partnership. They are:

Senses – how being in nature activates our touch, hearing, taste, smell and sight
Emotions – engaging with the feelings and emotions that arise in nature
Beauty – noticing what is beautiful about the natural world
Meaning – creating meaning from our experience of the natural world
Care – taking action to protect what we love.
